Like, Subscribe and Survive

In this episode, 5 "Influencers" survive on an island in Thailand for 14 days, more akin to a Fan challenge. To start, the group is split into teams of 2 & 3. The 3 person team includes self described "Rock Climber (Beau Martin), Woods Dude (Pearson Caldwell) & Mermaid Witch (Jena Ocean)." The 2 person team is Dragonsky Shilletha Curtis and Perry Cornwell.

The 2 person team struggles to create fire on a wet, windy side of the island while the 3 person team finds fire a breeze and is able to focus on building an A-Frame shelter with an elevated platform. Rain on day two keeps Perry and Dragonsky from making fire, while Perry works on making palm frond shingles for their shelter.

By day 3 Dragonsky & Perry still do not have fire, they work on trying out material to catch a flame. Along the beach they scavenge for oysters. Without the ability to boil water, Perry works on building a bamboo water filter. The three person team, having sorted fire & shelter go fishing with their mosquito net and spear gun. Jena Ocean's spear gun hunt doesn't yield anything, but Beau Martin and Pearson Caldwell are able to catch a load of minnows with their net.

Come day four, having been harassed by rats at night, Perry builds a deadfall trap and succeeds in killing a rat. Just in time to grill the rat, the team is able to build a fire. The three person team focuses on their "influencer" content instead of survival tasks.

Back on the search with the spear gun, Jena finds an urchin. The trio eats it raw. Then Jena ends up puking, possibly from sun exposure. The 2 person team makes a broth from the rat bones and organs.

Days 6 and 7 experience a lot of rain which douse fires and moods. Dragonsky and Perry use the fishing kid and make bamboo poles to go fishing, to no avail. By day 8 the two teams discover each other and decide to merge, build a raft and float to extraction.

The episode has more shouts of "Let's Go!" and than a Max Djenohan episode.
