This Is Gonna Suck So Bad

In the flood basins of Zambia, previous fan challenge survivors Ernie Hinojos and Amanda “Mandy” Wilson reunite for a tougher 21-day challenge. Given a native-style canoe to navigate the flooded terrain, they quickly learn the environment is dangerous when a park ranger warns them about lions near their boma. After reinforcing their shelter, the pair struggle to find food: Ernie’s attempt to chase down a warthog fails, and Mandy’s natural-cordage snares are broken by something too large to hold. Their luck improves when Mandy’s passive fishing setup starts producing catfish, but the challenge keeps hitting back. Mandy suffers minor burns from spilled boiling water, relentless bugs destroy their sleep, and high winds spread fire into their lean-to. Exhausted, cold, and worn down, Ernie considers quitting, but he pulls himself together. Despite the brutal nights and setbacks, both survivors make it to the end.
