Everglades Thirst Trap

In the drought-stricken Florida Everglades, Danni Brianne returns for her second challenge alongside first-timer Bob “Catfish” Rabon and returning survivor Kyle Malo. With the wetlands locked in a historic dry spell just before the rainy season, water becomes the biggest threat from the start. The only water hole is foul, and Bob gets sick after the first night. With no rain coming, the team eventually builds a shelter to get off the ground, but food is just as rough. A snake kill turns into parasite-filled snake soup so unpleasant that Bob can’t bring himself to eat it.

By day three, Bob is overwhelmed and taps out, forcing Kyle to join the challenge on 24-hour notice. With both remaining survivors having fan challenge experience, Danni and Kyle decide to relocate in search of better water. The struggle continues into the second half, with failed fishing attempts and Danni narrowly missing a turtle by hand. Their luck finally improves when Danni catches a small water snake and Kyle lands two catfish, giving the team a much-needed boost in the brutal Everglades heat.
