Kim Shelton is a wilderness-skills practitioner originally from Bemidji, Minnesota, and a graduate of the Wilderness Awareness School's Anake program. At 22, she was one of two survivalists in the very first episode of Naked and Afraid, spending 21 days in remote Costa Rica with partner Shane Lewis after their shelter famously burned down in the night.
