Mike Douglas founded the wilderness school that became Maine Primitive Skills School (Augusta, Maine) — first established in 1989 and renamed under its current name in 1998. He survived the full 21 days on Naked and Afraid in the Philippine jungle after his partner had to be medevacked, and works as a Maine guide teaching foraging, tracking and fire-making.
