Forrest Galante is an American outdoor adventurer and wildlife biologist who was raised on a farm in Zimbabwe before returning to California, and he holds a biology degree from UC Santa Barbara with an emphasis in marine biology and herpetology. He made his TV debut on Naked and Afraid in 2013 in Panama, posting one of the show's highest-ever primitive survival ratings, and has since hosted Extinct or Alive and Mysterious Creatures with Forrest Galante on Animal Planet. His 2021 memoir Still Alive: A Wild Life of Rediscovery was published by Hachette Books. See Naked and Afraid S2E1 "Double Jeopardy".
