Naked and Afraid — Season 2

Season 2 aired from December 2013 through April 2014 across seven episodes, expanding the cast to eighteen survivalists. Filming spanned Panama for the premiere "Double Jeopardy," Madagascar, Fiji, Belize, Malaysia, Bolivia, and Peru, introducing "Man vs. Amazon" as the show's first Peruvian rainforest challenge and closing with the high-altitude "Meltdown in Bolivia," which pushed the format beyond humid jungle into thin air and cold.

The run introduced Jeff Zausch, Forrest Galante, Manu Toigo, Cassie DePecol, Eva Rupert, and Fernando Calderon, several of whom would become long-running franchise faces. EJ Snyder returned from Season 1 for "Damned in Africa" in Madagascar, and Laura Zerra came back for Peru. The season's Belize entry "Mayan Misery" and Malaysian follow-up "The Pain Forest" locked in the show's early template of pairing tropical extremes with rapid mental unraveling.
