Naked and Afraid — Season 9

Season 9 aired between March and August 2018 across fifteen episodes, the longest single run of the parent show to that point. Filming spanned Florida (with hurricane-battered "Category 5 Survival" as the premiere), Mexico, Mississippi, Brazil, Panama, Nicaragua, Tennessee, Honduras, the Bahamas, and South Africa for the finale.

The season introduced Maci Bookout, Max Djenohan, Teal Bulthius, Steven Townes, Ryan Holt (returning), and James Lewis, and welcomed back franchise anchors including Ky Furneaux, Chad Keel, and Chris Fischer. Standouts include the shark-focused "Naked and Afraid Of Sharks" in the Bahamas, "Swamp Queen" in Mississippi, "Loaded for Bear" in Tennessee, and the South African closer "Fire and Fury."
