Naked and Afraid — Season 6

Season 6 aired between March and June 2016 across twelve episodes. The season widened the geographic footprint to include Canadian winter in "Frozen in Fear," Croatian coastline in "From the Ashes," and Alabama in "King of the Forest," the show's first Alabama episode. Traditional jungle destinations rounded out the run: Brazil, Belize, the Philippines, Thailand, Florida, Australia, Nicaragua, Honduras, and Namibia.

The cast of twenty-five introduced Matt Wright, Jake Nodar, Steven Lee Hall Jr, Amber Hargrove, Lee Trew, and Nicklas Lautakoski, all of whom would go on to multi-season franchise careers. Notable episodes include "Melt Down Under" in Australia, "The Danger Within" in Florida, "Strength in Pain" in Honduras, and the extended "23 Days" in Namibia, an early example of the network stretching a single challenge across an unusual timeframe.
