Naked and Afraid — Season 5

Season 5 was a compact five-episode run that aired between October 4 and November 1, 2015. The ten survivalists took on the season premiere "Forsaken" in Panama, followed by Belize's "Fear the Unknown," Namibia's "The Darkest Hour," a second Panama challenge titled "The Swarm," and the Philippines-set finale "All or Nothing."

The season introduced Trent Nielsen, Annie Foley, Joe Brandl, Andrea Lopez, and Cassidy Flynn to the franchise. It was one of the show's shorter runs. Naked and Afraid XL had by this point spun off to run in parallel, drawing the network's more experienced survivalists into that longer-format sister series while Season 5 focused on newer faces.
