Naked and Afraid Last One Standing launched in May 2023 with a ten-episode arc filmed in South Africa. The elimination-format competition assembled twelve returning franchise veterans, Amber Hargrove, Cheeny Plante, Dan Link, Gary Golding, Gwen Grimes, Jeff Zausch, Matt Wright, Sarah Bartell, Stacey Osorio, Steven Lee Hall Jr, Waz Addy, and Wes Harper, for a survival-of-the-fittest format that eliminated survivalists over the course of the run.
