Waylon Harper is the young-adult son of veteran Naked and Afraid survivalist Wes Harper and a graduate of Appalachian State University. He followed his father onto the show in the 2022 episode Naked and Afraid S14E6 "Next Gen Survival", taking on a 14-day challenge in a dense Mexican rainforest filled with pumas, jaguars and fer-de-lance snakes.
