Naked and Afraid — Season 8

Season 8 was a compressed six-episode run that aired between July 30 and August 20, 2017, unusual for airing three of its episodes across four days at the start of August. The premiere "Lost at Sea" opened in the Bahamas, followed by Texas ("Texan Torture"), Belize ("The Hunted"), Ecuador ("Rain of Terror"), Croatia ("Stone Cold"), and a return to Belize for the finale "Belize Breakdown."

The cast of twelve introduced Anastasia Ashley, Adam Adams, Sarah Wiley, Sarah Danser, McKenzie Clark, and Trevor Rasmussen to the show. The tight schedule and small cast made Season 8 one of the leanest runs in the franchise's mid-decade lineup.
