Naked and Afraid: Global Showdown launched in May 2026 with a seven-episode continuous-story arc filmed in South Africa's Limpopo region. The competition pitted teams representing regions of the world against each other in a 40-day multi-team format, one of the largest ensembles the franchise had ever fielded.
