Naked and Afraid — Season 3

Season 3 aired between June and October 2014 across ten episodes, the first double-length run in the franchise's history. Locations spanned Namibia for the premiere "Primal Fear," the Bahamas, Cambodia, Nicaragua, Argentina, Dominica, India's Himalayan foothills, Botswana, and Brazil, the widest geographic range of any Naked and Afraid season to that point.

Standout entries include "Blood in the Water" (the show's first Bahamas challenge), "Himalayan Hell" filmed at altitude in India, and the desert-set finale "Dunes of Despair" in Brazil. The season introduced Hakim Isler, Honora Bowen, Tom McElroy, Chris Fischer, and Lindsey Leitelt, a cohort that helped set the tone for the franchise's mid-decade run. The Amazon and Cambodian jungle episodes established the visual template Discovery would carry through the following seasons.
